Alumni Committees
There are four alumni committees supporting the relaunch of FMC 2026. Each committee meets at least monthly (although the camp planning committee will not launch until January 2026). All the committees have board sponsors that they work with to help guide the process.
Community Engagement & Outreach.
This committee will assist with general community engagement, outreach, and publicity. This could include leading social media strategy, developing materials for publicity, inclusive of physical and digital materials, and potentially hosting events to keep the FMC community alive and active.
Fundraising & Development.
This committee will assist in driving a development strategy. They will work to refresh donor lists/databases and fundraise for FMC’s camper scholarship fund.
Camper Recruitment.
This committee will assist in active camper recruitment. This could include developing points of contact at schools, Quaker meetings, and other organizations. Identifying opportunities for recruiting events (such as yearly meetings) and setting up in person presentations to recruit campers.
Camp Planning.
This committee will assist with camp planning, including camp schedule, culture, and policies. This may include helping identify possible partner organizations for a benefit concert, connections to the local meeting, and other camp activities.
