In 1980, two friends and Friends, Peg Champney and Jean Putnum, brought together their love of music and their commitment to Quaker values—community, equality, integrity, peace, and simplicity—to create something truly special: a Quaker music camp. Today, nearly forty years later, Friends Music Camp continues that legacy, providing a supportive, caring environment where every camper can grow both musically and personally.

FMC is a place where music, friendship, and fun come together! Campers of all backgrounds are welcome to play, learn, and grow in a caring community. Guided by Quaker values, we focus on kindness, empathy, and inclusion—so every camper can feel at home while making music and memories.
